A Notary's Acknowledgement service is a process by which a signer's identity is verified and their signature is witnessed. The Notary will then create an official document that serves as proof of the signer's identity and act of signing. This document, known as an Acknowledgement, is an important part of many legal transactions.

An oath is a promise to a deity and an affirmation is a pledge on one's personal honor. Both are legally binding promises to tell the truth and subject the oath-taker or affirmant to penalties for perjury. (NNA)

The signer is required to take an oath/affirmation before the Notary in order for the receiving agency to trust the signer's statements within the document. Jurats are often performed on affidavits or depositions.

A certificate that is used by Notaries to certify true copies of original tangible or electronic records, or printouts of electronic records. 

When a person in the State of Florida is required to make application for certificate of title and/or registration on all used motor vehicles, including trailers not currently titled in Florida, with a net weight of 2,000 pounds or more.  Notary Chicas will provide the Vehicle Identification Number and Odometer Verification and notarize upon completion of verification to be submitted to your local tax collector office. 

Notary Chicas is hired as an independent contractor to ensure that real estate loan documents are executed by the borrower, notarized and returned for processing on time.  It is important for the borrower to check the spelling of your name, check loan terms, purpose, product, and loan type matches the most recent loan estimate.

​Apostille is a certificate issues by a government agency verifying the authenticity of the signature of a Notary Public.  They are specifically used for documents going to the 156 countries that are signatories to the Hague Apostille Convention.  At Notary Chicas, we provide courier services to deliver notarized documents requiring apostille to the appropriate agency. This might entail sending the notarized document, a check for the processing fee, the apostille request form and a return mailing label to the apostille-issuing agency on the customer’s behalf. The agency would then process the request, attach the apostille and mail the document with apostille back to the Notary or the customer. We will also contact the issuing agency to the customer’s behalf to request instructions related to obtaining an apostille.  Fees for apostille services are per document and depend on time-frame required to receive the document. 

Notary Chicas ensures your wedding day is perfect in every way when it comes to legally or formally recognized union of two people as partners in a relationship.  A marriage license is required prior to getting married and are issued by the local county clerks office.  To request a marriage license, you will need identification and pay a fee (usually under $100).  The license if valid for 60 days after issuance and the marriage must take place during this timeframe.  There is also a 3-day waiting period after the license is issued.  Please provide the marriage license beforehand and once the ceremony is completed, the bridge and groom will sign as well as witnesses and a notary from Notary Chicas will sign.

Travel Fee is used for Mobile Notary Services at Notary Chicas. All services will require a notary fee unless selecting the option for Remote Online Notarization.
